According to a study by the University of Oxford, the Republic of Cyprus is ranked in the the top ten countries in the world, in preparedness to ease all security measures introduced due to COVID 19.
Scientists examined which countries are in line with the World Health Organization’s guidelines for abolishing physical distancing measures. Cyprus has succeeded in minimizing the risk of export and import of the virus and has managed to limit the Covid-19 outbreak to the level manageable by the healthcare system.
Other countries in the top 10 are Vietnam, Hong Kong, Greenland, New Zealand, Rwanda, Seychelles, Slovakia, Taiwan, Trinidad and Tobago.
