Cyprus becomes the EU leader in the quality of sea water for swimming

According to the report of the European Commission and the European Environment Agency (EEA), Cyprus has the highest proportion of bathing sites with high water quality among the countries of the European Union (99.1%). The study evaluated 113 bathing sites in Cyprus, of which 112 were rated as being of excellent quality.
The top 3 also includes Austria and Malta.
