The Cyprus Tax Department has announced an additional month for individuals to file their 2025 tax returns. Eligible individuals will be able to submit their returns and pay the relevant taxes and contributions by 30 November 2026 without incurring penalties or interest.

Key Dates and Requirements

  • 31 October 2026 — the official deadline for filing the TD1 individual income tax return for the 2025 tax year.
  • 30 November 2026 — the extended deadline for filing without penalties or interest under the announced relief.
  • 30 November 2026 — the deadline for paying the relevant taxes and contributions.

Who Is Eligible for the Extension?

The relief applies to individuals who are not required to prepare financial statements.

Taxpayers should also note that, from 1 November 2026, the transition to the Tax For All (TFA) system may restrict certain options for changing the status of tax returns that have already been submitted.

The announcement therefore provides eligible taxpayers with an additional month to fulfil their 2025 tax obligations without financial penalties.
