According to the survey among Russian nationals with a fortune of at least $ 1 million the businessmen with a capital of more than $ 30 million preferred Cyprus as a tax jurisdiction.
Cyprus ranked third among countries where wealthy Russians keep money in foreign accounts (after Switzerland and the UK).
Cyprus became the undisputed leader among the respondents (over 50%) in terms of the attractiveness of the citizenship investment program. The survey was conducted by the international real estate broker Tranio and the audit company Ernst & Young (EY).
