The official representative of Hermes Airport, the company which operates the international airports of Larnaca and Paphos, informed the news agency RIA Novosti.
“Airlines now schedule flights to/from Russia from September. But it has to be confirmed. Situation is changing very quickly because of the coronavirus issues. The airlines are changing their plans accordingly. In a week it will be clear how situation is developing,” said the representative of the company.
According to the news agency, Russia is in the category “C” country in the the coronavirus epidemic classification. Citizens from this category have to take the COVID-19 test upon arrival in Cyprus or bring with them confirmation of a negative test made not later than 72 hours before departure. These people must self-isolate for 14 days.
