Starting from 2025, Cyprus will introduce a new requirement: in order to submit both the monthly and the annual Withholding Tax and Contribution Declaration (form TF 7-PAYE), all employees must have a registered Tax Identification Number (TIN/AFT), regardless of their income level.

How to obtain a TIN?

  • Applications for a Tax Identification Number can only be submitted electronically through the Tax For All (TFA) system.
  • Before submitting the application, you must create an account in the TFA system.

Where to find instructions?

  • A detailed step-by-step registration guide, as well as a digital assistant, is available on the official website: gov.cy/mof-tfa
